Unterland laminated films are used as multi-layer bonded films and have various duties to perform, e.g. as seals or as surface protection etc. In close cooperation with our customers suitable solutions are suggested from our standard program, products which are already in use are modified or new films are developed. Our many years of experience and wide range of products make it possible for us to suggest several different types of film for a certain application and then to select the best possible version together with the customer.

All Unterland laminated films are produced according to customers? requests.  In that way we can guarantee that the customers? requirements are met 100% and that any changes which may later be requested can be carried out for each individual batch. Our division, and therefore also our customers of course, has a research and development department at its fingertips at all times. For the production of our laminated films we use high quality raw materials exclusively from reputable companies.

Inspection of received materials ensures us constant quality of the granulates used and this is one prerequisite for successful production. During production random samples are taken regularly, tested in the laboratory and compared with the corresponding product specifications. Should there be deviations outside of the allowed tolerances, production is stopped immediately, the source of the fault determined and corrected. In the final step the finished product is comprehensively and carefully checked before it is released for delivery and carefully packed.

• LLDPE - linear low density polyethylene (butene, hexene and octane types)
• VLLDPE - very low density linear polyethylene
• HDPE - high density polyethylene
• mLLDPE - metallocene linear low density polyethylene
• MDPE - medium density polyethylene
• PP - polypropylene
• EVA - ethylene vinyl acetate co-polymer

Unterland laminated films can be produced as either mono films or as coex films of up to 3 layers.
