Britton Unterland has been delivering high quality bread bags and bread films to large bakeries as well as local bakers throughout Europe for some time now. Due to our on-going cooperation with our customers and also with producers of packing machines we have been able to become market leader in Europe in the sector of bread bags. In the meantime we can offer customized packaging solutions for many different types of bread (fresh bread, sliced bread, wholemeal bread, crusty bread, rolls). Thanks to our hard-working research and development department we have been able to realise many improvements as far as sterilization, bonding seam, and film strength are concerned. Our latest type of bread bag PP103 was especially developed for automatic packing machines and has provided for an improved performance of up to 30 %! In addition to that, it is distinguished by excellent optical as well as mechanical characteristics and is very good for the packaging of breads which have hard and/or sharp surfaces.

Bread Bags
They are mainly made from UNOPP (un-oriented polypropylene) from our own extrusion. That is how we can guarantee the constant high quality and how we can implement any special customer wishes, as far as film characteristics are concerned, rapidly.
Our print shop, internal pre-press shop and partner reproduction agencies can prepare the most complicated of prints for printing within a very short time. Printing cylinders in 45 different dimensions make it possible for us to offer a wide range of repeating print patterns. Modern 10 color flexoprint machines print the required motifs onto the product in optimal quality.
Our processing plants can produce bags in various sizes and designs. Depending on customer specifications the bags are packed either on wickets or blocked.
Our bread bags can be produced with round bottoms, with tear-off perforated flap and perforated or non-perforated.

Bread Film
Britton Unterland bread films are printed BOPP films. Excellent transparency combined with high quality print guarantee the best possible presentation of your product in the shelves. Optimum sealing and automated processing characteristics allow for high frequency performance on automatic packing machines.
