Films for automatic processing

Britton Unterland films for automatic packaging are used for packing the most diverse products and have to fulfil several requirements: Protection, attractive presentation of the goods, good flow through the devices, good bonding, wide bonding surface, ability to be sterilized. We have been able to meet these requirements for years. Just as with all our other products, Britton Unterland automization films are developed and produced according to exact customer specifications. Depending on the application purpose and the goods to be packed, different raw materials and recipes for the films are used. Our research and development department is continually working on new projects. That is why our films can be used as packaging for deep frozen products, fresh milk, products with sharp edges, hygiene articles, wood or other goods and they can successfully complete the tasks asked of them.

Our print shop, internal pre-press shop and partner reproduction agencies can prepare the most complicated of prints for printing on films within a very short time.  Printing cylinders in 45 different dimensions make it possible for us to offer a wide range of repeating print patterns. Modern 10 color flexoprint machines bring the required motifs onto the films in excellent quality. Finally the films are cut to their end size, whereby a tolerance of +/- 1 mm can be complied with. Quality control is also carried out regularly in the area of automization films. A compulsory check of all incoming raw materials and master batches forms the first link in the chain of our tight QC system. Further checks are carried out during the whole production process and the results are compared to the customer specifications. Should there be a discrepancy, production is stopped immediately, the source of the fault determined and corrected. Only then is production resumed. As soon as quality control has been passed the goods are packed and delivered according to the customers wishes. Unterland films for automatic processing can be produced as either mono films or as coex films (with up to 3 layers).
